As a former co-worker and lodge member
his meager habit of not treating others with
drinks was legendary, overall JJ was decent
to all. Good memories last.

He was the best uncle a little girl could have. When I was just a kid, every time he came home on leave from the Navy, he would bring us "sailor" hats. We looked forward so much to those silly hats!
As I got older, he would share stories about his parents with me, and he always told people the story of me riding Lady, the boxer, like a horse. Of course, all of grandpa's dogs were named Lady, so you never forgot their name lol.
