Not sure what to say?

September 23, 2010

Matt, Ron and I just heard of Janet's passing. We are so sorry to hear of this. If you remember, I was a late comer to Hebron High School, not starting until the 9th grade. Being a new student, you are fearful and shy. Janet always treated me with the utmost kindness. I will always remember her beautiful eyes and smile. Praying for you and your children during your loss.

I will never forget Janet's laugh; it was genuine and contagious. She never forgot my birthday, and I looked forward to the annual cookbook that she'd pick out for me for Christmas. Growing up, I'm blessed to have spent much time at their house for family parties. It's just too soon to say good-bye...

Jenise & family, You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mother was one of sweetest women I knew. She always had a smile on her face and a good word to say. When I would see her, I would always ask about you and your family. Her face would light up when talking about you and your children. May God bless you & your family and help get you through this difficult time. Pat Gibson (Hebron)

From the moment I met Janet many years ago, she never failed to make it a point to always say Hello to me and ask how I was doing, and seem genuinely intereted in my answers. Matt is my cousin, and I've lived a distance away from the family, but no matter how long it had been since I had seen the family, when I saw Janet she was always greeting me with a warm hello and a welcoming smile. Sending you a hug to Matt and the girls. ... From Cousin Barb..
