What a beautiful obituary. While I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Chappey, I knew of her through her son, Wally, and my sister, Patti Schmitz-York. I especailly enjoyed knowing both that she wanted to be a part of spring break in Florida and that her grandchildren loved her enough to want to share that experience with her. Very impressive! How blessed you all are to have such special memories to sustain you during your time of loss.

Your family will be in my prayers. I hope that you will take comfort in the knowledge that your much loved mother is at home in the loving arms of her Creator.

Peace and prayers!

My mother-in-law, Jeanette Chappey, was a very special lady. She was an awesome mother. I am proud to be a part of her family. Before she passed away, I had the opportunity to thank her for bringing a wonderful son into the world for me. I will miss her very much.
