I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great friend of our family, as was your dad. When I was 4 years old I had a problem with my kidneys that required a weekly shot. Joanne made several house calls to save me from having to go to the doctor's office to receive my shot. She was so gentle and kind, and I know that my mom really appreciated her help. I also remember a certain 4th of July party that involved a watermelon seed spitting contest. I have a vivid memory of her enthusiastic participation! It was a hoot! We also had several of her paintings on the walls of our home. She was very talented! As time goes on and you continue your life without her physical presence, I hope you take comfort in knowing that she's in great company now! Take care and God Bless.

Joanne was a very sweet and gracious Lady. We will always cherish the times we spent together at Christmas parties and Purdue football games. Rest in peace.
