John Doll Obituary

John D. Doll, Sr. Union Mills John D. Doll, Sr., age 66, of Union Mills, IN, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2004 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Thomaston, IN December 1, 1937 to Kenneth and Irene (Gardner) Doll, Sr. On July 21, 1956 he married the love of his life, Sharon Beecher, who survives. Also survived by daughters Jacqueline (Dr. Donald) Pulver of Hebron, IN and Mary Feldman of Gurnee, IL; son John Doll Jr. of Union Mills, IN; grandchildren; Brian, Nicole and Anthony Pulver, Trevor Doll and Blair Feldman; sisters; Carol Welkie of Union Mills, Deanna (Robert) Young of LaPorte and Jeanine (Rick) DuShane of Grand Haven, MI; brother, Kenneth (Margaret) Doll, Jr. of Union Mills. His loving pet "Emily". Also preceded in death by a sister Mary Ellen Doll and brother-in-law Glenn Welkie. Funeral services Sunday, October 10, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Cutler Funeral Home, 2900 Monroe St., LaPorte, IN, Rev. Jerry Schweitzer officiating. Interment, Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, IN. Visitation Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Cutlers, with a Lions Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. Saturday. Mr. Doll was a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the Union Mills Lions Club, the Hamlet Men's Golf League and the Hamlet Couple's Golf League. Memorials may be made to the LaPorte/Michigan City VNA Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Family and friends may leave condolences and sign register book at www.cutlerfuneral.com
