JOHN HOFFERTH

John W. Hofferth VALPARAISO, IN - John Hofferth, age 54, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of Evansville, IN, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at his residence. He was born March 11, 1963, in Valparaiso, IN, to Bill and Sharon (Yates) Hofferth. He graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1981. John worked at Regions Bank where he was an officer and branch manager. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He loved golfing, was a great cook, enjoyed snow skiing and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. John was a good friend to many and will be greatly missed. On November 2, 1985, in Monroe City, John married Lesa Banta. John is survived by his wife, Lesa, his son, Addison (Victoria), and his grandson William. He is also survived by his mother, Sharon, his sisters: Erica Cadwell (Ken), Jessica Doelling, Elizabeth Hightshoe (Ryan) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death his son, William Justin Hofferth, and his father William (Bill) Hofferth. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN, 47715. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.
