KATHLEEN KEENE Obituary

KATHLEEN (KACY) KEENE LONE TREE, CO Kathleen (Kacy) Keene 73, of Lone Tree, CO, made her untimely transition on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Heritage Hospice of Greenwood Village. She was born in Valparaiso, IN to the late Herbert Colvett and Anna Ulfsby on May 9, 1941. Kacy graduated from Morgan High School in 1958 and then attended Purdue University where she graduated in 1962. She was a long time resident of San Francisco and employed as an I.T. Specialist at IBM and Charles Schwab. Kacy was a naturalist and strong advocate of alternative health and spiritual practices of healing. She is survived by her brother, Herbert Colvett of Port St. Lucie, FL and sister Carol Colvett of Golden, CO. She also leaves behind her niece Lisa, nephew John, great niece Sonja and beloved dog Dandelion (Dandy). A small, private memorial service celebrating Kacy's life was held for family on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Donations may be made to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Habitat for Humanity.

My condolences to the family though words are never enough.

My memories of Kacy are warm ones. Would that people demonstrate for each other just a bit of the loving compassion and kindness as Kacy did. She is missed.
