Kenneth J. Pavnica

SHELBYVILLE, IN - Kenneth J. Pavnica, 61 of Shelbyville, IN, formerly of Highland, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at his residence.

Loving father of Maxine (Jason Kolkey) Pavnica and Mitchell Pavnica; beloved son of JoAnn (Murzyn) Pavnica and the late Leonard Pavnica; cherished brother of Joseph (Mary Jo) Pavnica, Karen Plemons and Janice (Dave) Stofcik; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held at the BARAN FUNERAL HOME, 1235-119th Street, Whiting, IN, on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 3:00p.m. until time of services at 4:30p.m. with the Rev. Mark R. Peres, C.PP.S. of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be placed online at www.baranfh.com.

Kenneth Pavnica was born in Hammond, Indiana, on December 2, 1963. He was a graduate of Bishop Noll Institute and earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. He spent his professional career leading teams in the insurance industry. A music lover and "foodie," he enjoyed collecting records, attending concerts and participating in a culinary meet-up group. His other interests included outdoor activities, such as hiking and biking, and caring for dogs. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Shelbyville, Indiana. Devoted to his family, Kenneth will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
