Lorraine Linnemeier Obituary
Lorraine Linnemeier, age 89, of Valparaiso, IN, formerly of Hammond and Schererville, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She is survived by her daughters: Carol (Scott) Ward, Susan (Roger) Schuepbach, and Pamela (Dr. Ronald) Zentz; daughter-in-law, Dr. Georgiann Linnemeier; grandchildren: Kimberly, Brett, Dr. Amy (Timothy), Matthew, Christine (Eric), Megan, and Laura; great grandchildren: Ryan, Kara, Timothy, Keith, Jack and Nick; brothers: Dr. Robert (Eleanor) and Donald (Phyllis) Hanne- mann. Preceded in death by her husband, Norman; son, Dr. Thomas Linnemeier; and sister, Pearl Vonder Here. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave., Munster. Private burial at Concordia Cemetery, Hammond. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 1:00-2:00 PM. Lorraine was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and retired from Calumet National Bank. After retirement, she volunteered at the Field Museum, Art and Focus at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, and the Lutheran Braille Evangelism Association. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to VNA Hospice of Porter County or Lewy Body Dementia Association www.lbda.org. www.kishfuneralhome.net

I was so sorry to hear about Lorraine. I worked with her at Calumet National Bank/Bank Calumet for many years. She was a wonderful, funny person. She will be missed by all who knew her and she will be in my prayers.
