LUANNE P. MANTEL FT. MEYERS, FL Luanne P. Mantel (nee: Slawson) age 54 Ft. Myers, Fl, formerly of Dyer, IN. Passed away December 26, 2007. Preceded in death by Andrew Mantel (husband). Survived by her loving children: Tracy (Robert) Schatzman and James (Hilary) Mantel of Ft. Myers; two granddaughters: Alyssa and Gabriella Schatzman; parents: Ronald & Janice Slawson; sisters and brothers: Randy (Janice) Riggs, Rhonda (Doug) Sampson, Susan (John) Hawkins, Peggy (Donald) Kerns, Twins- Terry (Linda) Slawson, Jerry (Lisa) Slawson , Tina (Rick) Falkenstein; many nieces and nephews. Luanne was a 1971 graduate of Lake Central High School. Married and stay at home mom until 1985. Then as a single mom, moved to Ft. Myers became a kindergarten teaching assistant for nearly 20 years. Now rest in peace after a long battle of Breast Cancer. Cremation and Memorial Service on January 5, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, Fl 34135. In lieu of flowers donation to the Susan G Korman for the Cure SWFL P.O. Box 366337 Bonita Springs, Fl 34136

Tracy,Jamie, and families, I will always cherish the memories I have of working with your mom-from Little League to San Carlos to Three Oaks. We shared alot of laughs and a few tears. We all admired her strength and her intense love for her family. God Bless you all.

Tracy and Jamie,
Val called us tonight and we were saddened to hear of your mom's death.
