LUCIA JANE KREITZ SLATINGTON, PA
Lucia (Lucille) Jane Kreitz, age 90, of Slatington, PA, died in her sleep on April 13, 2009 at Wittenberg Village in Crown Point, IN. She was the wife of the late John H. Kreitz. Born in Rextown, PA, on August 23, 1918, Lucille was the daughter of the late Sallie (Dillard) and Frank Corey. Lucille was self-employed as a beautician for over 50 years. She was an avid card player and crafter. She was involved with TWIGGS (Lehigh Valley Hospital Auxiliary), Slatington Senior Citizens and the Slatington Women's Club. Survivors include: daughter, Marcia (Peter) Canale of Crown Point, IN; son, Corey of Allentown, PA; two granddaughters: Carrie (Joe) Bright of Indianapolis, IN and Courtney Canale of Chicago, IL; three great granddaughters: Kylie, Alexis and Malorie Bright. GiGi will be missed by all. In fulfillment of Lucille's request, funeral services will be private with no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memorial fund at St. John's U.C.C. in Slatington, PA, or Immanuel U.C.C. in Highland, IN.
