Luis Guillen Obituary
Luis "Weto" Guillen passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012. He was born on April 28, 1956 to Ramon and Maria Guillen, Sr. of East Chicago, IN. Luis is survived by his mother, Maria Guillen of East Chicago, IN; his children: Jennifer Guillen, Luis "Louie" Guillen, and Melissa Guerra; six brothers: Ramon (Ruby) Guillen, Jr. of East Chicago, IN, Jose (Sara) Guillen of Hammond, IN, Juan Antonio (Juanita) Guillen of Hammond, IN, Richie (Teri) Guillen of Hammond, IN, David Guillen of East Chicago, IN, and Daniel (Patricia) Guillen of Grand Haven, MI; five sisters: Guadalupe (Lupe) Mauricio of Houston, TX, Josie (Ralph) Cancel of Hammond, IN, Cristina (William) Rios of Lorain, OH, Laura (Luis) Figueroa of Holland, MI, and Ana (Wilfredo) Perez, Jr. of Holland, MI; special nephews and nieces. Also survived by his fiance, Irma Ramirez. Luis was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Guillen, Sr.; his brother, Jesus Guillen; and his brother, Juan Carlos Guillen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. directly at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, 3802 Elm Street, East Chicago, IN 46312 with Pastor Gilberto Novales and Rev. William Rios officiating. Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary. Visitation Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the church. Fife Funeral Home in charge of arrangements (219) 398-3210.

Dear my friend im sorry i didnt get to see you before you went to see our heavenly father.I miss our telephone conversation.Must of all i will miss you calling me and ask me what was i cooking if i said i was making arroz con gandules,ensalada y lechon or pernil you would ask me what time was dinner half an hour later you be knocking at my door.Even when i move to San Antonio you still call and ask what was for dinner,and i told you what i was cooking you said i miss that cooking.This week i was making arroz con gandules and lechon and you pop up into my mine and i look at my phone waiting for it to ring u alway seem to know when i was making that for dinner.But must of all i miss talking to my friend.For some of us we lost a son a father,an uncle,or a brother.And the lord gain a very special angel to watch over all the lives you touch on earth.I just miss my dear friend..May you R.I.P.my friend...
