Madelyn Kay Kocon
VALPARAISO - Madelyn Kay Kocon age 62 of Valparaiso IN., passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Stanley S. Kocon Jr.; son Kyle (Kayla) Kocon; grandchildren Cataleya, Athena, Hailey, and Aurora. She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Roberta Miller.
Per Madelyn's request services were private.
Madelyn was dealt a rough hand in life. She was diagnosed with MS in 1993, but that didn't stop her. She beat all the odds against her and made the best life. Madelyn was always smiling and had so much love to go around. She loved making crafts, anywhere from painting to making jewelry. She loved to dance, ice skate, and spending time with family. Madelyn loved to be pampered. She had the prettiest hair and nails. She was the most beautiful angel inside and out; Madelyn will be missed by so many, and her memory will live on in all our hearts. I have lost my angel, soulmate and love of my life. A piece of my heart and soul is gone. It has been an honor, privilege and a blessing to be with my wife; my loved one Madelyn.
Madelyn has had a very hard life for over 40 years but her love to live and love for everyone and especially her strong will is what kept her going. The love from her family kept her strong.
I know there is a God because he brought Madelyn to me. I was so lucky to have so many years together with my beautiful wife. I will cherish all the wonderful memories for as long as I live. I know Madelyn is in Heaven now with so many of our loved ones.
Madelyn my angel, I love you so much and I will love and remember you forever. God bless you my sweetheart and my angel.

Madelyn was a strong woman! She fought the illness of MS with a courage that was unbelievable. I don´t think I ever heard her complain about her situation. Her husband Stanley, as well as her son Kyle and his wife Kayla and other family members took great care of her.
Madelyn touched the hearts of many and will be missed.
