To Marilyn's family, We only knew your Mom for a few years in a proffessional way. John and I had both lost our spouses in 2005. We found each other and are happy. We talked with Marilyn quite a bit...perhaps because we too had lost a spouse. I can remember the three of us talking in her office and of the tears flowing down her face. She loved you Father very much. We often talked with her about how she was coping, about her daughters and grand children. How much she enjoyed that Disney Cruise. We only found out about her death today. We pray that you will feel comfort thru your loss. She is a choice lady.

Thank you to all that have expressed words of kindness and comfort to our family during this time of sadness.

Dear Michelle and Jenny,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I opened the newspaper last night and saw her obituary. Your mom and I had gone to Cedar Catholic together and then we lived together in Yankton a short time before your parents were married. I sang at their wedding and remember the day Michelle was born ( 1lb 13oz if I remember correctly). Your Mom and I would exchange Christmas cards over the years but had not seen each other for several years. My deepest sympathy to both of you and your families. She always had a great smile!! Dear Michelle & Jenny & family,
I am your Moms first cousin. I have so many fond memories of spending lots of time at their house. Diane & I were always very close so I would stay at their house every chance I could. Most Sundays all of us cousins would meet at our Grammas house for Sunday dinner. We had so many good times together. My husband and I had plenty of good times with both your folks too. I will never forget your Moms beautiful smile and her laugh. Please know that we are so very sorry for your loss. It's a hard one, that's for sure. God bless all of you, and don't ever forget,... your Mom is watching over you and she is experiencing all the beautiful angels and music in heaven!
With deepest sympathy, Terri Kast Thunker.

The last time I saw Marilyn was in NE, 23 years ago. She took time to get to know me and my brother even though we were quite a bit younger than her. Michelle and Jenny, I've always thought your mom was a great person.

To the family of Marilyn my deepest condolences to you. Marilyn and I worked on the St. Jude Development Board together and she was wonderful to work with. Very kind hearted and giving person. She jumped into many of our projects with lots of energy. She and I were also in a book club together and while she got sick shortly after joining our small group, she added so much to our discussions. I will miss her and my heart is heavy at her loss. God Bless Marilyn and God Bless you all.

Family of Marilyn: Our family, Frank and Jolene (Kast) Kralicek, would like to let you know we are so sorry. Marilyn will be missed but will be watching over you all with God's other angels. It is so hard to lose someone so close to your heart. Remembering back as a child, we would go to Grandma Kast on a Sunday or holiday and have so much fun playing with Marilyn and her sisters. Cheryl and Diane can tell you all the mischief we use to get into. Marilyn was with the older girl cousin group. I was in the middle group of girl cousins along with Cheryl. We always got blamed for the mischief of the older group...We
were smart enough tho to blame the younger group of girl cousin, Diane age, for it. We knew they wouldn't get into trouble cause they were the little kids :} Anyway in the end we had a lot of fun together and I will always remember your mom's/daughter/sister/ grandma's,smile and laugh. Know we are praying for your family. God Bless you and be with you at this time. Our deepest sympathy to you. You cousins in South Dakota
