Marilyn E. Shingler, age 96. Late of Cedar Lake, Indiana formerly of Highland, Indiana. Marilyn was born January 6, 1929 and grew up on Juniata Terrace in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 9, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Robert Shingler Sr. Loving mother of Sandy Brownfield, Marsha Shingler, Robert Shingler Jr., and Ray (Susan) Shingler. Cherished grandmother of Hannah (Kenny) Dougherty, Austin Shingler, and Ian Shingler and great grandmother of Isabelle and Harper Dougherty. Dear sister of Sam. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. Services for Marilyn were held privately for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Elmwood Funeral Chapel and Crematory – Cedar Lake.
