Mary C. Motkowicz, age 91 of Hammond, Indiana passed away on Monday October 6th 2025. She is survived by her loving sons: Stephen of Florida and David (Gloria) of Lansing and loving daughter: Monica (Ruben) Suarez, and four grandchildren: Brittany (Dylan) and Ryan Motkowicz and Jessica and Jacob Suarez. Preceded in death by her loving husband: Joseph and son: Gregory.

She was a housewife, loving mother and part-time waitress for Condes Catering where she made many friends over the years. She was a member and past president of our Lady of Fatima society at St Casimir's Church. She enjoyed entertaining and loved to throw parties for friends and family. She was a graduate of Barry University in Miami with a bachelor's degree in social work. She was also a picture lady for St Casimir's School bringing in classic artwork and educating students about the picture of the month. She was a graduate of Hobart High class of 54, a proud Hobart Brickie. More than anything else she loved being with friends and family and her favorite dog Millie.

Visitation with the family will be Friday October 10, 2025 from 9-11am at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN with a service at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
