MATTHEW W. CIENKUS LANSING, IL Matthew W. "Matt" Cienkus, age 42 of Lansing, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife and love of his life: Mary (nee Sopata); mother: Suzanne Cienkus; brother: Jason (Kelly) Cienkus; mother- in-law: Marilou (Ron) Mrjenovich; father-in-law: Dennis (Pandy) Sopata; and brother-in-law and sisters- in-law. Also surviving is his beloved yellow lab: Eli. Friends are invited to visit with Matt's family on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at the Schroeder- Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016. Matt was a millwright with Union Local 1693. He was a Chicago Bears fan, huge Cubs fan, artist and musician. He was loved will be dearly missed by his family, many friends, and dog, Eli. www.schroederlauer.com
