Michael Badowski Obituary
Michael J. Badowski, age 80 of Munster, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. He is survived by his wife; four children; four stepchildren; one sister; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his dog, Hank.
Friends are invited to visit with Mike's family on Wednesday, January 14 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. His service will begin at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel along with Navy Military Honors. He will be laid to rest among his comrades in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Mike's name to Transitions Hospice, 11035 Broadway, Ste. E, Crown Point, IN 46307.
Mike honorably served our Country in the US Navy aboard the USS Okinawa during the Vietnam War. He later became a teacher.
Mike's family extend their appreciation to the staff at Cedar Hurst Senior Living in Dyer, IN, and especially to the people from Transitions Hospice for the wonderful care and friendship they gave to Mike. They are truly grateful. www.schroederlauer.com
