MICHAEL "MIKE" RYAN HAMMOND, IN FORMERLY SOUTH "EAST SIDE" OF CHICAGO Michael “Mike” Ryan, age 66, has passed away on November 18, 2015. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Mike is survived by the love of his life for 33 years, Patricia Randall. He is the cherished father of Shawn Ryan (Denise) Ryan, Jamie (Dave) Grzyb, Michael (Claribel) Ryan, and Kelly Randall. Adored Grandpa of Rachel Ryan, Steven (Sarah) Ryan, Amber Klut, Jordan Ryan, Eddie Ryan, Jessica Grzyb, and Justin Grzyb, and Great Grandpa of Asher and Abel. Dear brother to the late James (late Ann) Ryan, Patricia (Fred) Peters, Edward (Christine) Ryan. Fond uncle to his nieces and nephews; great friend to many people. Preceded in death by his loving parents (James and Mayetta Ryan) and nephew, Edward “Eddie” Ryan. Mike had a unique way of touching every person he met with his quick wit and tender heart. If you knew Mike, you knew about his yearly fishing trips to Minnesota! At his request, his ashes will be scattered over Pelican Lake where he's fished for over 48 years. Visitation 10:00 a.m. followed by Memorial Mass, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, IN.
