Mildred Lenburg Obituary

MILDRED LENBURG CROWN POINT, IN
Mildred Lenburg, 98, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, IN. She was born on March 30, 1915 in New Castle, PA. Mildred was a teacher for many years and was very active in her church. Mildred enjoyed reading and studying her Bible. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Lenburg, one brother, and one sister. Mildred is survived by three nieces; Maxine Wilson of Greenburg, PA, Barbara Benson of New Castle, PA, Merilynn McGuire of Placentia, CA; and her care giver, Gennie. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Graceland Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Frank Klobucar officiating. Visitation and viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service time in the Chapel. Elmridge Funeral Home and Graceland Cemetery is handling the arrangements (219) 462-3511. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Michigan City, IN.

MILDRED WAS A WONDERFUL SWEET WOMAN. MY GRANDMOTHER WAS BLANCHE LENBURG BLAKE AND THEY WERE RELATED THROUGH MARRIAGE, I REMEMBER WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT MILDRED AND BILL THROUGH MY MOM DOROTHY MELVIN. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
