Nancy Gunnell

NANCY GUNNELL BURNS HARBOR Nancy Gunnell, age 74, of Burns Harbor, formerly of Gary, IN, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2009. Nancy was a graduate of East Gary Edison High School, Class of 1953. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in 1956 and worked in Chicago, Ogden, Utah and held the position of Head Nurse at San Francisco General Hospital for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her father, William Quinlan; her mother and stepfather: Mary and S. P. Coker. Nancy is survived by her loving companion of 28 years, Gary Childs of Burns Harbor; sons: George Gunnell of Marin County, CA and Adisa Webb of Burns Harbor, IN; two sisters: Susan Maxwell of Crown Point, IN and Claudia Bragg of CT; three nieces; two nephews; and many family and friends.
