Even though it's been a little over six years times are still tough! I try to not let anybody see the pain but deep down not being able to say good bye was the hardest part! You were a great friend and you were always there when anybody needed you! We grew up together from kindergarten all the way thru and I have always said to myself that the world should have more people like you around today! People like you, Nick, make the world a better place. You are never gone from our hearts and you will NEVER be forgotten!

It has been a long journey for me and my family and i still think of you like it was yesterday it has been 6 long years and i am still hurting inside especilly around the holidays you are now a uncle of three beauitful nieces you would been proud when kalie comes over i always tell her about her uncle in heaven looking down on her sometime when she is here she always looks at your pictures like she seen you before they always say baby could see things that we can't and i do beleive that is true so look over her please she is very special to me and if you can shine a little light on your twin sister she really needs it she desire the best not less so if you can help her out and for jessique when she wakes up in the morning all i see is your eyes in her that puts a smile on my face and i always tell her that she is my sidekick now just like you were and for steven and cat keep them together i am so proud of both of them they are made for eachother they are great parents you would been proud of steven and for toni she has been on a rollercoast with doctors make sure everthing gose good for her and her family and most of all i am proud to be your mother for 14 years your were a great son i ran for my money for you but it was worth it i am always going to have a hole in my heart in tell i see you again i miss you so much nicholas i wish i could hear your voice one last time but i know i can't that why i hope we will see each other in heaven mommy love you very much don't ever forget that

I still cry to this day about you Nick! I will never forget all the good times we had together! Mom(Judy) I love you and I hope you are doing better! I know its really hard to lose him but its better to just try to move on with your life. I miss you mom and I miss Nick sooo much. wow. it has been a few months since nick passed. yet, people are still coming here to read his guestbook,still crying,visitng his memorial,still thinking about him,everyone loved nick he was so funny and he was fun to be around. he was always trying to make people laugh...he usually did to. it is just a shame that this had to happen to nick, its a shame it has to happen to anyone. but why,why did it have to be nick? he was so young he didnt even get a chance to live his life to the fullest. i guess he lived it to the fullest he ould..i saw nick the night before this all happened. i never thought that that would be the last time i saw him happy,alive,healthy enjoying life. i am terribly sorry for your loss...to this day i still think about little nicky i always will he will always be in my heart and prayers i only wish i can take his place so he can still be here with everyone who loves and misses him..

Nick I miss you so much. I will never forgette when I was sitting in my backyard with Brandon and my brother's friend came back and asked me if I new a kid who was 14 was in 8th grade and who was named Nick but we didn't know what the last name was. I instantly thought of you but I said it could'ent be. So later I went to my friends and I heard that it was Nick. I started cring. So the next night my mom came up from the basement and she was cring. I said whats wrong? She told me she was talking to darlene (the lady two houses down from me) and darlene just came back from seeing Nick in the hospital and that he died. I could'ent stop cring. I went to school the next day and there were so many kids in counsiling and I was one. Nick we miss you so much. Rest in Peace. You will never ever be foregotten.

Nick and I played basketball last year together on the "Hornfrogs" team. Him and I were the smallest kids on the team so we got along pretty good. We helped each other out. Nick was a very close friend to my daughter Shyanne before we moved 2 years ago. He spent a lot of time with her at my house after school and during the summer. He was a great kid and the only boy that I trusted around my daughter. He was a fun, entertaining little guy and it is horrible to hear what happened to him. I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of seeing Nick quite a few times. He was good friends with my younger cousins. He always had a smile on his face and was always so sweet when he was around. He will be missed.
As we all try to send our prayers, there is nothing we can readlly do to take away the pain. Our words can only comfort, our tears only grieve, and our memories console. Just remember that God only takes the best, and only when he needs them.

I have known Nick my whole entire life. He was like a brother to me, well more then a brother actually. I loved this kid and i hope he realized it. I have had so many memories with this one of a kind friend. Knowing Nick he wouldnt want us to cry,he would probly be calling us a name or something. It definetly wont be the same without Nick. I love Nick. I am like apart of his family and hes like apart of mine, So its REALLY REALLY hard to deal with his loss. I had so much faith for him. Sometimes i think i had to much faith for him, but i really didnt. But sometimes i wonder why Nick? why? but i thought about it and it could have been anyone of us me or you. I really miss him. I am pretty sure he is smiling and looking down on us. Some of us may have hardly known Nick or some of us could've been really really close to him but no matter what Nick will be loved by so many. I alwayz thought that me and Nick spent so much time together and now we cant, but now he's even more closer to me because hes in my heart.He will always be in my mind,heart, and soul.I loved HIM SOOOOO MUCH u wouldn't even know.I mean just to imagine how hard it is on us i can't imagine how hard it is for his family. I saw Nick Friday at Morton's Home coming game he was sooo funny,he laughed he was smiling he was alive and healthy. but i guess things can change so quick before you get the chance to even think about it. Its hard going to his house and not seeing that special person there anymore. i knew nick, and to me he was like the brother i never had. every day when i pull up to school i relize nick isn't there, and it always brings tears to my eyes. i loved him just like a brother even though he wasn't my flesh and blood.

When tommorrow starts without me, and i'm not there to see; if the sun should rise and find your eyes are filled with tears for me; i wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. i know how much you love me, as much as i love you, and each time you think of me i know you'll miss me too; but when tommorrow starts without me,please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven far above, and that i'd have to leave behind all those i dearly love. but as i turned to walk away a tear fell from my eye, for all my life, i'd always thought, i didn't want to die. i had so much to live for, so much yet to do, it seemed almost impossible that i was leaving you. i thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad, i thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had. If i could relive yesterday, just even for awhile, i'd say good-bye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. but then i fully relize that this can never be, for emptiness and memories would take the place of me. nick was a great friend to me in 4th and 5th grade. ever since I herd about the acident I cant stop thinking about him. I know how it feels to lose someone you love and care about. I lost my 2 yeared old brother last december and it was really hard to go on, but I did it and so can you it just takes a little wile. Nick will always be in my heart until the day I see him again. I barily knew Nick, me and him went to the same elemantary and middle school, but I'm a year older then him so I never got to know him. Though still when I found out what happened I was in shock. I prayed that he'd live, but I guess my prayers weren't heard. I cried for him. Even in school, I moved from Hammond a few months ago, but memories like this will tie my to Hammond. I'm sorry for the family and I hope that they will be able to overcome there great lose and live each day in honor of Nick. Thank God though he didn't die right away though, cause then he mite not of realized just how many people care about him.
