Norma Rose Obituary

Norma Jean Rose

Norma Jean Rose (née Whiffler), age 86, of Merrillville, passed away on Thursday May 15, 2025.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ruth Pfeifer; and her cherished grandson, Kevin Dujmovich.

Norma was deeply loved and adored by many, especially her children, grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren. Her life was defined by her devotion to her family, her strength of spirit, and her unwavering independence-she truly lived life her way.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Septon; her nephews; and her devoted children, Danny Rose, Kenneth (Jennifer) Rose, Tammy (Rocky) Rose-Schirelli, Sherri Rose, Cynthia Rose, and Shae Russell.

Norma Jean also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Her legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion will be carried on through all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Norma will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 4:00 pm until the time of her memorial service at 6:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
