Pat and I became friends from the time she started at Winston & Strawn. We met when she first started, as I was assigned to be her "Big Sister" in a program here that assigns secretary volunteers to new hires. We hit it off right from the very start and stayed friends for all these years, even after she left Winston to go to Clausen Miller and during her medical leave. We tried to make it a habit to meet for lunch every couple of months to catch up on things. I will miss her dearly. I don't think I have ever met anyone who so exemplified "grace under pressure" and kept such a positive attitude through all she had to endure the last few years. I consider myself so lucky to have met her and will keep her memory always close to my heart.

I miss Pat's e-mails already. I met Pat while she worked at Clausen Miller. She sat a few desks away from me, and we shared some birthdays and Christmas together. She was always upbeat and smiling, a real pleasure to be around. I felt so bad that she suffered so much these past few years. My condolences to her family.

Pat and I met in 1996 while both of us were temping. After she came to Clausen Miller she recomended me for a position. We were very good friends until her death. The day before she died she called me and said we would meet the following week. The next day her father informed me that she had made her transition. I will miss her very much. I plan to keep in touch with her dad.

I've known Pat for 7 years now, and she was a very nice, caring person. Chris was a very good friend of Kevin's. We got the chance to be with Pat the day before she passed away, she attended our son's birthday party with her granddaughter Jasmine. I am so glad that she came and we got to spend that time with her. She remained strong throughout her battle with illness, and seemed to always have a smile on her face, and for that I admire her. We kept in touch with emails, and I'm going to miss all the emails she used to forward to me. God bless you Pat, we will miss you!

Pat was and still is a true inspiration to me. No matter what came her way, she always had a positive attitude. She was an extroadinary pillar of strength. The example Pat set helped me get through my own battles. My miniscule battles couldn't compare to her's. However, the strength, determination and faith she always held through her worst times only made me more determined to keep my head up high and work through it. I want to Thank Pat from the bottom of my heart for being such a wonderful friend and a tremendous human being. I will miss our long phone conversations and our commentaries of current events. I will always hold Pat close and dear to my heart. I only hope to follow Pat's example as I face the challenges that life may bring my way by displaying the same strength, determination and faith that she so valiantly did.

I would check my email to see how Pat was and see if there were more updates, praying for the best for her. I felt so sorry for her but I could tell by her emails she always seemed to be in good spirits no matter what the news was good or bad. Pat knew that the good Lord above would take care of her. She is in a much better place now and doesn't have to worry about the cancer makers and all the fluid building up, she can focus on filling up with the Love of our Lord!

God Bless Pat and her family!

Love you!

I met Pat when we worked at Peterson & Ross together in 1989. She always made me laugh. I used to look forward to seeing her because I knew she would brighten my day. We lost touch for a bit. I got pretty sick. My husband took me to Vegas to get well. Our mutual buddy, Pam Santana, hooked us up again with e-mail. I'm really going to miss Pat a lot. She was a great and wonderful sweetie pie. She was so thoughtful and considerate no matter how bad she was feeling. She never failed to inspire me with her courage. I feel so bad that she lost her fight, but I feel good that she's in God's hands and not suffering any longer.

I met Pat on the job in 1989 and we remained friends until the very end. We were members of the same bunco club several years ago, and, after Kevin passed away, "Jay" became the light of her life. I cried when I read in the paper that Pat had passed on. She was so courageous and fought her battle so hard. I will miss her for the rest of my life. Rest in peace, Pat.

Your good friend.
