Paul Buldak Obituary

Paul J Buldak, 83, passed away August 9, 2025 in Ft Myers, Fl. Paul was born November 5, 1941, in East Chicago, In. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and later Purdue University. Paul proudly served his country in the Army, stationed in Korea.

In 1968 he and Kenna Spencer married and enjoyed a wonderful journey together for 57 years, along with their children and grandchildren.

Moving to Ft Myers, Fl in 1976, they owned and operated Chicken Unlimited Restaurant for many years. In Florida Paul became a fan of the Gators and Dolphins, and later an enthusiastic FGCU basketball supporter. He loved fishing, biking, kayaking, and had many memorable trips and cruises with his family.

Paul was a charter member of St John XXlll Church, participating as a greeter. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as Treasurer and working on many of their charitable endeavors. He loved being a volunteer tourism ambassador with the Visitor Convention Bureau. Paul enjoyed being with people and was a friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul, Sr and Anna Buldak, and sister Lorraine Vale.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Kenna, daughter Carreen Drouin, son Jason (Marie) Buldak, sister Anne Bach, grandchildren Matthew and Kristen Carney and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Sept 15, 10:30 at St John XXlll Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity in his name.
