Paul Dancho Obituary
August 3, 1942 - October 15, 2024
Sweet, kindhearted, fun loving and hardworking Paul Joseph Dancho, of Valparaiso, IN, went home to be with the LORD on October 15, 2024. He passed unexpectedly at home after a fun and joyful weekend, dancing and being silly with his wife of 23 years, Yong Dancho.
Born in 1942 in Hammond, IN, Paul graduated from Hammond Technical High School. From there he went on to a long and fruitful career in construction and home decorating. Paul was blessed to love and adore his work. Just a week before he passed, following a back pain abatement procedure, he joked that he might go back to work at 82 years of age.
Paul was a long time member of Liberty Bible Church where he sang in the choir with his wife, whom he loved and cherished. A lifelong fisherman and hunter he was also an avid reader, biographies being his favorite. Dancing, having fun and joking around are what everyone remembers about Paul, as well as his kind spirit and appetite for all things sweet!
Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Yong, daughters Natalie (Dave) Foley, Debra Dancho and Shannon Dancho, granddaughter Brittany Rutt, great granddaughter Normandy Johnson, sister Joann (Daryl) McDonald, brother Fred (Joy) Dancho, many nieces and nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Stella Dancho.
Paul's Celebration of Life/Memorial is Saturday, November 16, 12:00 p.m. CST at Liberty Bible Church, Valparaiso campus, S 1155 Sturdy Rd #1155, Valparaiso, IN 46383. Zoom attendance is also available. Email [email protected]">[email protected]">[email protected]">[email protected] for details.

We were in choir with Paul at Liberty. And Steve worked with him on a few jobs. He was always so kind and uplifting. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and know he is with Jesus!

I hate to hear this, I knew him many years ago and he loved his family so much, I know where he is now and I think his goodness was what got him there, Go sing with the angels Paul. U had two beautiful girls, glad u guys were in my life.
