PAUL JOSEF WILCZYNSKI PORTAGE, IN
Paul Josef Wilczynski, age 74 of Portage, IN, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011. He was born April 4, 1936 to Paul and Anna Wilczynski in Gary, IN. On March 26, 1960 he married Sarah (Sally) Wilson. Paul is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sarah (Sally); three daughters: Kimberly (Jeff) Paulus, Krystina Wilczynski (Brendan Burke) and Katrina (Mark) Addis; his beloved grandchildren: Pierce Forsythe, Jacob (Megan) Parker, Anna (Curtis) Horning, Caroline and Will Paulus, Grace and Sarah Parker and Mason Addis. Paul is also survived by his great-grandson, Deegan Parker; two sisters: Helen (late Joe) Botsko and Teresa (Bill) Carpenter; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Chester, John and Edward; sister, Rose Rethel; as well as daughter-in-deed, Carol (Suzy) Forsythe. Paul is also survived by best friend, Bob Sarich. Paul was employed as a bricklayer at US Steel for 34 years. He was a member of Nativity Parish. Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post 367. Paul's act of kindness and words of wisdom and humor will be remembered by all. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, who will be dearly missed. Family and friends may gather at 9:00 a.m., an hour before the 10:00 a.m. Christian Mass of Burial at Nativity of Our Savior Parish with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
