Philip Cuevas Obituary
Philip Cuevas, age 57 of Highland, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009. He is survived by two children: Sarah (Chris) Cuevas-Cichocki and Philip Cuevas; four grandchildren: Colin, Gavin, Tyler and Katelyn; mother, Dolores (late Raymond) Cuevas; one brother, Raymond (Renee) Cuevas; two sisters: Gerri (Pete) Gonzales and Monica (Bob) Sullivan; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jack. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 13, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave., Highland, IN followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, Highland, IN. Interment at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Philip was retired from Inland Steel as a welder. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Philip loved fishing, the outdoors and wood carving. He loved his family and friends and was always the life of the party. He will be missed by all who knew him.
