Phil Orr was a fellow classmate at Hammond High School. He was a member of the Class of 1959 and well respected by his classmates.
We were sorry to hear of his passing but want to send supportive wishes to his family. He was a very nice guy!
Phil's senior high school picture is on our website: www.hhs59.com, along with his obituary on our memorial page.
He will be missed by all.

Every morning, when I would stop in for the paper, I spent more time than I ever planned. I was NOT a sports guy but Phil was obviously conservative so OUR talke were always about politics or the "lack" of government and statesman.
I've missed him since he closed Whiting Cab. God bless his family for sharing him with us all those years

Dear Joanne, Holly and Amy,
We wish to express to you our love and condolences at this very difficult time. You have all been a huge support for Mr. Orr and he certainly waged a strong battle against his cancer. Now that he is at rest we pray you will also be blessed with both peace and rest. You have all fought a good fight.
Lovingly, Nancy and Wayne Stallard
