Phyllis Keever Obituary
Phyllis Jean Keever (nee Heller), age 57, of Crown Point, IN, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 7, 2008. She was born on September 17, 1950 to Robert and Juanita Heller. Phyllis was a graduate of Merrillville High School, Class of 1969. She was married on April 17, 1971 to Larry Keever. Phyllis was employed at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart for over 10 years. She enjoyed shopping and spoiling her grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Juanita Heller; and her husband, Larry Keever. She is survived by two daughters: Rhondalynn (Scott) Sears of Valparaiso, IN and Nikki (Dr. Steven) Schroeder of Granger, IN; five grandchildren: Ryan, Matthew and Nicholas Sears and Michael and Emma Schroeder; one sister, Sandy White of Margate, FL; and one nephew, Shawn (Cathy) White of Pompano, FL. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, 153 Tilden Ave., Michigan City, IN. Friends may visit with the family at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. www.burnsfuneral.com

I was sad to hear of the passing of Phyllis. I worked with her at St. Mary's. We became friends and bowled together. May God help ease the pain of losing your mother. You will be in my prayers.
