RAYMOND FORECKI Memoriam
July 30, 1923 March 21, 2016 We are sorry dad Because of the Easter Holy week mass schedules your funeral was rushed and you did not get the send off you deserved. What a life you lived! You quit high school when your father died. You were a paratrooper in the Philippines in WWII with 14 total jumps, Purple Heart and Gen. MacArthur Honor Guard in occupied Japan. Your best friend, Irv Siebert was the first of many in your outfit 511th PIR Company H, to get killed. Those sad memories never faded. With the GI Bill you went to college and became the Asst. chief electrical engineer for Republic Steel. Married to mom (Cecelia) for 61 years and the father of six children. A special thanks to Dr. Marek Odehnal and Dr. Kenneth Ramsey for saving your life in 2013. Thanks to Art Flores, Art Nelson, Kathy (owner) and all of your friends at Uncle Johns. With your knowledge and quick wit, we sure had a lot of fun. You have moved on, but there are six grown children left here with broken hearts.
