Raymond Forecki Obituary
Raymond P. Forecki Sr., age 92, late of Dyer formerly of Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Cecelia. Loving father of Kathy (Chuck) Hansen, Mary Ann (Nicholas) Emanuele, Raymond Jr. (Kerry), Michael, Terry (Doree) and Laura (Lynette) Forecki. Devoted grandfather of ten. Cherished great grandfather of seven. Dearest brother of the late George (late Eleanor) Forecki. Veteran of the U.S. Army - 11th Airborne, 511th PIR. He also served as Honor Guard for General MacArthur and was a Purple Heart recipient. Ray was a retired electrical engineer for Republic Steel. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John to St. Joseph Church, Dyer. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating. Interment Private. 219-365-3474 www.elmwoodchapel.com
