RAYMOND J. JARECKI ST. JOHN, IN Raymond J. Jarecki, 89, of St. John, IN formerly of Roseland and Sauk Village, IL passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Lupe; children: Donald (Erica) Jarecki of Deerfield, IL, Carmen Biltgen of St. Joseph, MI, George (Darleen) Mayger, and Robert Mayger of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; grandchildren: Ryan, Kelly, Deloris, Kenneth, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas, and Alexandra; and great grandchildren: Dylan, Lydia, Brenden, Aiden, Brianna, Jordan, Marcos, Ariana, Brooke, Lauren, and Kadence. Preceded in death by his parents: Lucian and Victoria Jarecki; stepfather, Bruno Madura; and brother, Richard Jarecki. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2012 beginning with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 22244 Torrence Ave., Sauk Village, IL. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave., St. John, IN. Ray was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel and volunteered at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital. www.fagenmiller.com
