Richard Potesta, 87, born on September 22, 1936, in East Chicago, IN, peacefully departed from this world at home on October 7, 2023. Richard's life was marked by adventure, love and unwavering spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty that will be cherished forever. Richard is survived by his wife Margaret (Maggie), daughters Dawn Tasher, Dana (Greg) Salvatore, son David Potesta, grandchildren Aaron Tasher, Megan Tasher, Sara (Bryan) Roberts, Jake Tasher, and great grandchild Raelynn Roberts, brother Ralph (Cindee) Potesta, nieces, nephews and many other loving family members. Richard was preceded in death by son Gregory Potesta and sister Rosemary O'Malley.
In lieu of flowers/cards, please donate to the American Diabetes Association in his name.

Dick was my supervisor at #2AC station and was later he got the Boiler House side . Lots of memories GOOD an BAD but mostly Good ! R.I.P Richard
