Robbie Keaton Obituary
Robbie C. Keaton, Sr., age 55, of East Chicago, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital. Survivors, one son, Robbie (Gena) Keaton, Jr. of Hammond; two daughters: Robbiann Keaton of Gary and Morgan Keaton of East Chicago; two grandchildren; four brothers: Reginald Benton of Hammond, Nathaniel (Diane) Keaton of Pelham, GA, Curtis (Mary Kay) Keaton of Camilla, GA, Ralph Keaton of Ft. Wayne, IN; one sister, Favian "Faye" (Bruce "B.T.") Thomas of Gary; stepsister, Irma Jean (Curtis) Martin of Rialto, CA and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by daughter, Chiara Keaton; parents, Hoover and Clementine Keaton; sister, Carmella Richardson and brother, Mark Benton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Tree of Life Baptist Church, 2323 W. 11th Avenue, Gary. Rev. Cato Brooks, officiating. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery Griffith. Visitation will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at Hinton & Williams Funeral Home 4859 Alexander Avenue East Chicago from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tree of Life Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Robbie served on the Deacon Board of Tree of Life Baptist Church and was a Board Member of East Chicago Black Expo. Hinton & Williams Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Keaton family during their time of loss.

Man! RIP "Du Rod" man I can remember the many days we spent laughing growing up hanging out even tho I was younger than you, we still laughed and enjoyed the fun we had! Will miss ya brother! Condolences to your kids and family and to my Tree family!
