ROBERT EDWARD KINCAID FORMERLY OF MUNSTER, IN

Robert Edward Kincaid, age 82, of Grass Lake, MI, formerly of Munster, IN went home to the Lord June 20, 2008, age 82 years. He was the son of Bertha and Edward Kincaid born November 16, 1925 in Chicago, IL. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Marianne Kincaid; three children: Paul (Patricia) Kincaid, Katherine (John) Volkmann and Christine (Scott) Glynn; 10 grandchildren: Heather, Erica, Sara, David, Emily, Kyle, Nick, Cari, Megan and Katelyn; three great- grandchildren: Andrea, Andrew and Hannah; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Kincaid; son, Scott Kincaid; two brothers; and one sister. Robert graduated from Calumet High School in Chicago, IL in 1943. He honorably served his country during WWII in the United States Army Air Corp. He graduated from IIT in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He retired as Executive Vice - President from Vic Kirsch Construction in Hammond, IN after 25 years, then from Glen Ellyn, IL as Village Engineer. He was an active member in St. Paul's Episcopal Church both in Jackson, MI and Munster, IN. Bob was an avid golfer and was a Chicago White Sox baseball fan. He dearly loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. We would like to tenderly say thank you to Hospice of Jackson and Oaklawn for their care of Robert during his illness. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Jackson, MI, Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Larry Walters officiating. Interment following in the memorial gardens at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Building Fund 309 S.
