The Ricketts Family -
Remembering Bob and reflecting on some good times we had together. We used to go bowling with the Hill family and Bob, Sylvia and Justen. Our friendship continued by making it a point to get together and go out to dinner, swaping homes to hang out together, having dinner parties and long chats.
Bob was an easy going guy who enjoyed the simple things in life.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends.

I am stunned to hear of Bob's passing. We spent several years right after High School doing "about everything" together. My memories of Bob are more precious to me than I know how to express. Such a good man.

Bob was my upstairs neighbor at The Masters. He will be missed dearly. He always had a smile and was always so friendly. Justen, I had just spoken to him before his trip to see you and he was so very proud of you and couldn't wait to see you. You are all in my prayers and this is indeed a great loss to all...family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding.

This is to the original RRT team 1975 that started our respiratory TEAM as Ed states. We were the begining of a new field that took off like no other. We set all the records, changed the field and insured a future for all that followed. Ed, I am sure you can remember the time we spent with Bob in Atlanta in a class to try to pass the RRT orals, what a memory. One pinball machine drowned! We slept at the Ricketts in a small apt. and we all eventually passed our registry. Bob, Sylvia, Justen, Erik, Cynthia, Yo and I spent many weekendends together, Jenga. Many trips to Oshgosh Air show camping, Chicago Air Show on my boat and enjoying life together. The Ricketts and the Hills grew up together from birth of our children to adult. I will end this as short as I can as times changed in our lives and say the remaining Regestired RRT boys that started this origional group that I would hope we keep in touch. Remember the good times as we had many. Bob you will be missed! I miss you all!! Mike

Yes indeed, Bob, after nearly 40 years in the RT profession, will be missed by health care practitioners from NWI to Atlanta, GA. His relaxed and smooth demeanor served him well during interactions with patients, students, friends and colleagues alike; all of whom, I trust, will join me in extending sincere condolences, prayers and love to Bob's family and friends.

To the Ricketts Family:
I worked at St. Margaret's hospital for many years and knew him well. You, as family were the most important people in his life. His patient's and students were his life's work and he took it seriously. May you find comfort in the knowledge of a life, while way too short, was well spent and remembered. He will be missed by many.

For everything we've done over the years, working on your homes to teeing it up at 6 in the morning so we didn't miss the Bears, you will be greatly missed. As a dear friend, words cannot express my sorrow. Keep hitting them dead center perfect.
