Rodolfo Lugo Obituary

RUDOLFO LUGO HAMMOND, IN Rodolfo Lugo, age 90, of Hammond, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016. He is survived by six children: Sonia (Richard) Igras, Rodolfo (Theresa) Jr., Bruce (Kathy) Lugo, Carlos (Theresa) Lugo, Veronica (Joseph) Claus, Roxanna (Patrick) O`Rourke; along with 23 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jose F. (Late Elida) Lugo; one sister, Carmen Basye; many nieces, nephews and cousins; good friend, Elva (Francisco) Lopez. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Margarita; two sons: Victor and David Rene Lugo; one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 19, 2016 starting with 9:30 a.m. prayers at the Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home 7109 Calumet Ave, Hammond, IN continuing with a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. John Bosco Church Hammond, IN, with Fr. Stanley Dominik officiating. At rest St. John Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home. Rodolfo was a long time area resident, he was active at St. Mary's Church in Hammond, and was a member of St. John Bosco Church. He retired from Vulcan Mold, Iron Co. He was a Union Grievance Chairman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Calumet area.
