Not sure what to say?

July 4, 2012

Please accept my deepest sympathy to everyone in the family of Ron Sims. Mr. Sims served on the Hammond Public Library Board of Trustees in Hammond, Indiana for many years. Also, he continued to volunteer at the Hammond Public Library once his term expired as a Library Board Trustee by serving on the Materials Selection Commmittee, which I chaired. I always appreciated his excellent ideas he presented to improve the quality of library service at the Hammond Public Library as well as his as well as his outstanding contributions in the community.

Sincerely,

Rosalie Steiner-Ruff

My deepest sympathy to Ron's family. I read & very much Ron's column in the Post-Tribune and appreciated the thoughts which he expressed therein. it was with deep sadness & shock that I received news of his passing. Ron was a gifted writer, but be was an even better person. He will be missed & remembered. Peace to his memory, God's strength & peace to his wife, children & grandchildren. Some people are noteworthy because they try to be; Ron was noteworthy without trying to be.
