Salva Muffoletto Obituary

Salvatore Muffoletto Lake Station Salvatore Muffoletto, age 61, of Lake Station, passed away July 12, 2006 at the Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso. He is survived by his sons: Pino (Patrizia) Muffoletto and Salvatore Muffoletto; brothers: Guilio (Antonietta) Muffoletto and Mario Muffoletto; parents: Guiseppe and Guiseppa Muffoletto; special family: Frances Muffoletto and June Sonaty; and a host of special friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2006 from St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 1746 Pennsylvania Street, Gary at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Edward Kawa officiating. Burial will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Visitation will be held on July 15, 2006 from the Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville (two blocks south of cemetery) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Salvatore was a prominent businessman who owned and operated Muffoletto's Bakery and Pizzeria in Lake Station. He will be loved and missed by all.
