Steven Beier Obituary

STEVEN E. BEIER SCHERERVILLE, IN Steven E. Beier, 65, of Schererville, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014. Survived by sons: Brian (Shelley) of Dyer and Douglas of Schererville; granddaughter, Kaylee; parents: Skip and Margery; brother, Scott (Pat); and several nieces and nephews. Steve was a 1966 Lowell High School graduate, 1970 Ball State University graduate, served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, and spent 32 years on the Chicago Board of Trade, retiring as CFO. Visitation, Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Cremation following at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave. in Lowell. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to American Parkinson Disease Assoc. www.sheetsfuneral.com

We are blessed knowing somebody as kind and caring as Steve Beier. Steve spoke only kind words about everyone. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Brain, Doug, we know you are proud of your father. He was very proud of you.
