Thomas Farley Sr.

1946 - 2024

Thomas James Farley Sr., a retired stagehand, and resident of the Villages, Lady Lake Florida, passed away on March 18, 2024.

Tom is survived by his son, Thomas James Farley Jr. and daughter in law, Stacy Farley; his son, John Mackey and daughter in law, Carrie Mackey; his son, Michael Mackey and daughter in law, Sheila Mackey; his daughter, Erin Barry (Mackey) and son in law, Ed Barry; his grandchildren, William, James, and Scott Farley, Madison, Nolan and Paige Mackey, Nora, Anna, and Michael Mackey, Reese and Olivia Barry; Great grandson, William Farley, numerous nieces and nephews including, Lawrence Kulczyk. He is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Farley; sister, Loretta Kulczyk; and brothers Jack and Edward (Bud).

Tom Farley Sr. was born in Chicago on January 9th 1946 to Lawrence Farley and Josephine Nelson Farley. Tom worked as a stagehand until he retired as a Gold Card member in 2006, from the Theatrical Stage Employees Union Local #2. He was a very spiritual man and devout Christian, generously spending countless hours helping others through his church outreach programs. His favorite activities included golf, swimming, biking and walking. He also enjoyed spending time with his best friend and girlfriend, Glenda. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers and everyone who crossed his path.

A memorial service will be held on April 6, 2024 at The Church of the Four Seasons, 9100 E 109th Ave, Crown Point, Indiana 46307. Service will begin at 11:00 am, given by Pastor Tom Clark. In lieu of gifts or flowers his family has set up a donation account in Tom's name to the Kairos Prison Ministries, a charity near and dear to Tom's heart.
