Thomas I. Niemann SCHERERVILLE, IN - Thomas I. Niemann, age 90, of Schererville, IN passed away January 23, 2018. Loving husband of Clementina (nee Marcilonis), father to Marybeth (Murray), John Niemann, Eleanor (McNear) and William Niemann. Uncle to Desiree, Jules, Christina, Larry and Julie. Born June 3, 1927, Tom worked in sales at his Father's furniture company, Niemann Incorporated and later at WineMeister. He always had a story to tell, loved shopping and going to dinner with friends and family. He served in the Navy, participated in "getting-out-the-vote" and enjoyed reading the newspaper. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at St. Maria Goretti Church: 500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, Indiana followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Services will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
