I have to say my heart is in my stomach.I found out about this tragedy today.
I've known Tom since the 60's.We grew up together.We bowled,rode bikes,listened to music and yes,caused alot of trouble.When I was a teenager I probably stayed at his house more then mine.He worked for my father.We were inseparable for years.Tom was a pallbearer for both of my parents.We remained close till the early 90's.Due to forks in the road we drifted apart after that.
When I heard today I cried.Even though I have not seen Tom or Sherry for years,I miss them today,they were a huge part of my life.
I will pray for Tommy and Shannon.

Sherry and Tom were my family, we are going to miss them forever. They will live on in our hearts and will never be forgotten. What I would give to see Sherry doing karaoke and Tommy saying who loves you. May you rest in peace.

TOMMY & SHERRY WERE GREAT PEOPLE AND WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS BEING A LOT OF FUN. THEY CAME TO WISCONSIN TO VISIT NOT TO LONG AGO AND I AM GLAD WE HAD SHARED TIME TOGETHER BEFORE THIS TRAGEDY. Tom and Sherry were dear friends to me and Lori. We have been through good times and bad but we always seemed to remain not only friends but like family. It was so nice to see both of them here in Florida visiting, going to the beach and just talking about the "good old times''. Now Tom, Sherry, and Lori are together watching over all of us.

Tommy and Sherry were two of the most giving and loving people I had the opportunity to share life with. They were always there if anyone needed help. To the family, stay strong and stay together. These two special people will truely be missed.

I only got the priviledge of knowing them for a couple of years but they had to of been two of the most giving, big hearted people I know....they wanted to save the world and make everyones life easier..they were always there to help when it was needed and they took a lot of pride in that. They will be missed by so many!!!!!

I have been part of this amazing family for a long time. Tom and Sherry were the most generous, sweet, caring people that I have ever had the priveledge to meet. They blessed our children with their love and we will miss them deeply. Don't worry, Uncle Tom, everything will be ok here. Aunt Sherry, love ya. We'll see you again.

Tom and Sherry will be greatly missed. I didn't know them that long, being new to Lowell. But from the first time I met them, they were great people. They always made me feel welcome and like a friend. I will miss their smiles and their friendship.

My condolences to the whole Orton Family. I only knew Tom and Sherry for about a year. Tom was one of the most generous people I have ever met. And Sherry was just a total sweetheart. Not to mention great friends and fellow bike riders. My prayers are with them and all the family and friends that will miss them.

To Tom and Sherry"s family's....for the short time i got to be apart of their lifes..i got to be good friends with both of them. Being a fellow biker is was not hard to get to like Tom. He became a sponser for AVMRA in Lowell, and was never too short of cash too help out any cause for the vets. To his and Sherry's kids and their families...i will say this..they were great people with hearts of gold...and will be missed by more people then you know!!! More so by this ol' long haired biker by the name of Big-T
