HIRAM, GA - With a heavy heart the Szanyi family announces the death of Tim Szanyi on February 21, 2024 at the age of 67 of Hiram, Georgia, formerly of Hammond, IN. Tim was born on February 11, 1957 to Dave and Linda Szanyi. Tim resided in Georgia for the past 45 years. He is survived by Lori of 19 years; children: Amber, Timothy, Ella and Ryan, stepsons, Dalton and late Daniel, two grandchildren all of Georgia; siblings: Gail, Karen O'Keefe, late Pat, Joan (Bill) Forsythe, Robert and late David Wayne; many nieces, nephews and cousins; aunt, Dee Levine.
Tim attended Irving Spohn, Hammond Tech High School class of 1975 and St. Joseph College. Growing up, Tim was loving and loyal brother with a great sense of humor. We all have fond memories of him. He made lifelong friendships from his school days. Tim still enjoyed working and enjoyed his co-workers and his friends at his favorite bar "Varner's". Tim will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Georgia at a later date. "R.I.P." Memory Eternal.
