It has been almost a year since SPC Guffey passed away. There are very few days that pass by in the unit that there is not a reminder of Tim. He still has many friends here at Fort Campbell that cherish their memories with him. Pictures of Tim are posted in the Company and Battalion areas. He was a great Soldier, friend to all and a blessing to be around. We remember his service, grieve the loss of a true friend and offer our continued support to the Guffey Family.

Al and Bonnie,

Stephanie and I want to express our deepest condolences with your loss of Tim. I'm not going to pretend to comprehend the emotions you have at this moment. My parents have spoken highly of your family for a while now and I feel like I know you. We also appreciate your heartfelt email to us last month. Please know we'll always consider you family in Christ and offer our deepest love and concern. As a military officer I get a lump in my throat when I think of the incredible sacrifices Tim made as a soldier, and you made as parents during his recent combat tours. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow but we know this brave warrior walks with the Lord. God Bless You; you're in our prayers always!
