Aunti Vickie was amazing. I have so many fond memories of her from my childhood. I was also pleasantly surprised and delighted when she and Uncle Larry showed up here in Oregon at my workplace with their RV parked outside. They cam to see my infant son, Chris (now 25 yrs old)and to spend a couple of days visiting. We had so much fun. It was that impulsive nature I remember.I could always talk to her about anything. Such a quick sense of humor and a twinkle in her eye. My love and support to all her family who mourn her loss. Rest well, Aunti Vickie. I love you.

Auntie Vickie was a remarkable woman with her characteristic big heart and spunk. I will always cherish the special memories I had of her when I was a child growing up in Indiana-- her warmth, her love, and the sense of humor that was so Auntie Vickie. She left an enduring, positive impression on me. Rest in peace, Auntie Vickie. Thank you for touching our lives so graciously. You will be deeply missed.

Vickie was a amazing Mother-in-law for nearly forty years, more like a Mother to me. She was always kind, thoughtful, warm, loving and generous. She is and will be surely missed. May God bless her and keep her in his kindom for all time. I love you Vickie! Raymond Pahl, Conroe, Texas

Auntie Vickie, you will be so deeply missed. Thank you for helping to create some of my fondest childhood memories in Indiana. You were such an awesome and 'cool' Aunt with so much vigor and so much fun. May you find peace in knowing you touched so many lives through your loving gentle life-rhythm that was uniquely you.

I will miss my Aunt Vickie. She reached out to her sister´s children and taught me about the strength of love of family. She showed me the goodness of her heart and I will always feel the loss for all the years we missed together. Rest in peace and love, Aunt Vickie.

A great lady... a great loss. We have such fond memories of her dropping in on us a number times in California on her cross-country trips and it was such an honor for us to have her be the first family member to hold our first born just hours after her birth. "Your old Aunt Vickie" (as you referred to yourself), you were anything but old, and I hope you know how much of an anchor you served to our family from afar as we left the area for so many years. You left a lot of great memories for the whole Hladek gang. I still love hearing the stories from the day! You had a heart of gold and you will be sorely missed. Our kids will continue to keep Aunt Vickie in their bedtime prayers. One last thing... your sister Lorraine wanted to make sure that you know that she loves you...

Vickie, you were a wonderful neighbor and we're going to miss you. You always told me that if you ever met my Mother you felt that you would be good friends. When you meet her in heaven your thoughts will become a reality. Thank you Vickie for being a good friend. Henry and Janice Paz.
