Vivian Wartsbaugh Obituary
Vivian E. Wartsbaugh (nee Ward) age 91 of Griffith passed away peacefully on Sunday March 27, 2016 at Munster Med Inn. Born March 18, 1925 in Tahoka, Texas to William E. and Mary Ann Ward (Drager). She is survived by her loving son Acy W. Wartsbaugh and wife Carol; grandchildren: Richard Wartsbaugh, Acy (Sarah) Wartsbaugh II, Traci Wartsbaugh, Adam (Erin) Wartsbaugh, Lori (Kevin) Frank and Joseph Dawson; great grandchildren: Ethan, Logan, Katelynn and Acy III Wartsbaugh. Many nieces and nephews; dear friends Audrey, Katherine and Darlene. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Earl F. Wartsbaugh; son Allen E. Wartsbaugh; grandson Aaron J. Wartsbaugh; brothers: Vernon E. Ward, Jerry W. Ward and niece Nina J. Ward. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday March 31, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home located at 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home with Pastor William Sytsma officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Vivian graduated Hammond Tech High School 1944. She retired from the Hammond Health Department-Vital Records Office. She was a member of the New Life Church, Highland IN. Vivian's life revolved around her Family and Friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Humane Society of your choice, Harbor Light Hospice, or New Life Church in her memory. Dear Mom, we are going to miss you so very much. You were always so dear and close to Rich and I, but especially to me. I will always have you in a special place on my heart.
