Walt Lauridsen Obituary

Walter E. Lauridsen Kouts Walter E. Lauridsen, age 88, of Kouts, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Porter Hospital. He was born November 22, 1917 in Chebanse, IL to Simon and Bertha (Bach) Lauridsen. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the South Pacific and had been a longtime Kouts farmer. In 1946, he married Maxine Florer, who preceded him in death in 1979. Survivors include two daughters: Ruth and Mary Lauridsen both of Valparaiso; three sons: Edward (Marcia) Lauridsen of Valparaiso, Donald (Sandra) Lauridsen of Kouts and Dennis Lauridsen of Valparaiso; one brother, Earl (Betty) Lauridsen of Valparaiso; two grandchildren: Tiffany and Jessica Lauridsen. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts, with Pastor Ed Fabrici officiating. Burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery in Kouts. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 9, 2006 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kouts First Presbyterian Church. kosankefuneralhome.com.
