We go back quite a few years in the polka entertainment and broadcasting media and at one time we worked for the same company.
Many time we would be at Club 505 and the various "events" that Wally would do or be in charge off.In fact,we were "fired" at the same time from our broadcasts as new owners took over the management of the stations- WIMS,Michigan City and WJOB in Hammond. He will always be rememberd in our Hearts.

I was fortunate enough to get to know Wally a little bit late in his run on WJOB. A finer gentlemen in that business I have never known.

And being able to see first hand many of the things that he did for his community and fellow poles, I know how he served as an inspiration to others to also make this region a better place.

My condolences to the family and friends.

To the whole Skibinski family: First let me express the sympathy we feel for you at this time. Your father was one of the greatest men we have ever met, and I suspect most people feel the same about him. He touched many people in various ways during his life...a true role model. Special thanks for helping choose the band for our wedding, and for raising such great children, which we have had the pleasure to know over the years.
